Welcome to BSA Troop 27! We have been serving scouts from Kingwood and the surrounding communities for over 30 years.

Troop 27 is a boy-led active troop with monthly campouts and activities.

Chartered by Christ the King Lutheran Church, our goals remain to encourage young men in the scouting ways: personal achievement, character development, citizenship, leadership, and fitness.

We meet on Mondays at Christ the King starting at 7:00 PM in the Youth Building. Any young man between the ages of 11 and 17 years of age is welcome.

We are waiting for you! Come join us and be part of the adventure.

Our next court of Honor is scheduled for May 13. The last day to request a Scoutmaster Conference and/or Board of Review is April 29. Scoutmaster conferences can be scheduled directly with Mr. Steinke or via email at ssteinke76@yahoo.com . Boards of Review can be scheduled directly with Mr. Dillewyn or via email at gdillewyn@hotmail.com .

May 17-19 Lonestar Trail Hiking and Camping Trip Registration Open

Registration is open for our May 17-19 camping trip. We will be hiking 5 miles on the Lone Star Trail and camping at Double Lake Recreation area. This will be our last camping trip before summer camp. Scouts must plan to bring a day pack for the hiking trip. Register by Monday, May 13.

All health forms are due by the May 13th meeting (this is a date change). This includes forms A, B1, B2, C, a copy of the front and back of insurance card, and records of immunization.

Registration is open for Camporee April 19 - 21. This event will be held at Tellepsen Scout Ranch in Navasota, TX. The last day to register is Sunday, April 14.
